Our next adventure was the Olympic Training Center. The complex has so many awesome facilities! We visited the training areas for shooting, swimming, wrestling, boxing, gymnastics, volleyball and a general strength and endurance gym. The group was lucky enough to see some gymnasts in action! Our tour guide, Graten, said that most resident athletes live at the training center for 2-6 years and come right out of high school. But there is one athlete that has been there for over 12 years and plans to work towards the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo! The Olympic Training Center is an inspirational place andcertainly brought out our American pride!
